To a person, Exigent Technologies is committed to our core values.
They represent who we are and are fundamental to achieving our company and individual goals.
At Exigent, we cultivate an optimistic attitude. We are committed to finding places where we can contribute, support, and improve rather than voicing and acting on negativity. We have a passion for our mission, and when we lead by example with a commitment to being open-minded, flexible, and positive, we will accomplish more.
Striving for perfection can mire down any team, so we focus on continuously making meaningful progress toward our goals. Instead of being frozen with fear of making a mistake in pursuit of perfection, a consistent cadence of improvement is exhilarating and satisfying. Rather than focusing on deficiencies and complications, at Exigent we focus on the simplicity of what is working and what next steps will create additional success.
We are intentional with our efforts to leave all things, places, and relationships better than we found them. We value charity and goodwill to those around us and in the communities we serve. We act with honesty and integrity. We take humble pride in our work and understand that even the smallest gestures can have a positive impact on someone or someplace.
Teamwork is the ability to work with others and to help your teammates attain their full potential – all in pursuit of shared goals. At Exigent, we believe in the Golden Rule, the power of teamwork, and the exponential impact of collaboration. Rather than wasting any time with criticism or blame, we seek to assist others. When things go wrong, and they will, we will step up, raise our hands and volunteer to help.
At Exigent, we doggedly pursue answers—asking questions, turning over rocks, and asking for help when necessary. We view challenges and barriers as an opportunity to learn, grow and uncover new solutions. We understand true excellence demands innovation and a willingness to be exhaustive in our search for resolution.
For the past 25 years, Daniel Haurey has served as the visionary behind Exigent Technologies’ longstanding success in the IT services industry. His commitment to client success and passion for excellence inspires Exigent’s white-glove customer service and high-performance culture—both of which focus on leading customers toward the innovative technology they need for success.
Daniel founded Exigent in 1997 with a mission to meet the IT needs of small to midsized businesses across the New York/New Jersey region. Since then, Exigent has earned multiple accolades as a consultative business partner dedicated to delivering effective, efficient technology solutions that drive success in their clients’ businesses regardless of the industry. That commitment is reflected in a series of awards:
Over the decades, Exigent has built a clientele ranging from Carlos Bakery, featured in the Food Channel’s “Cake Boss,” to high-profile financial and legal firms—and everything in between. Regardless of size or vertical focus, Exigent treats each customer as a true partner, striving to identify the technology solutions that fit the business’ unique needs.
Daniel frequently speaks at industry events, lending his business and technical insights to fellow tech entrepreneurs. A believer in the power of partnership, Daniel has served as the vice president and president of the Trust X Alliance Big Apple Chapter, a highly selective community run by Ingram Micro, the world’s largest technology distributor.
Modeling the innovative behavior he expects from his team, Daniel is a lifelong learner, adding numerous technical certifications, including Cisco, CompTIA and Microsoft, to his associate degree in Business Administration. In 2020, he secured a highly sought-after advanced cybersecurity accreditation—the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) designation—which focuses on competencies around securing complex, interconnected technologies while also deploying privacy solutions that ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.
Daniel’s commitment to providing insightful, innovative thinking for Exigent clients led him to launch Partners in Regulatory Compliance (PIRC) in 2018. PIRC is a consultative cybersecurity firm focused on guiding businesses through the complicated landscape of state, federal and international regulatory compliance.
Daniel remains a son of New Jersey, supporting local charities and nonprofit organizations including the Essex County Vocational Technical School in Newark, N.J., where he has sponsored scholarships. He also regularly volunteers and has made involvement in local communities a priority within the Exigent culture.
Behind every effective visionary is an exceptional integrator, and for Exigent, that role belongs to Senior Vice President Gerald Busardo. Gerald shoulders the responsibility for managing the company’s finances in his dual role as CTO, as well as Exigent’s day-to-day operations and human resources.
In his role, Gerald works closely with his leadership team to foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within Exigent, maintaining an exceptional and energetic level of corporate motivation, inspiration, and engagement. By collaborating closely with management, he strives to standardize and continuously improve all elements of operational infrastructure, including systems, processes, and personnel structure, all with a keen focus on scalability and incomparable customer experience.
During his 20 years with the Exigent team, Gerald has earned deep experience building effective and standardized operations, as well as recruiting and nurturing the human resources needed to bring those processes to life in service of Exigent customers. Before serving as SVP, Gerald mapped out Exigent’s service department from the ground up, building a scalable, adaptable and customer-focused Help Desk, creating high-performance Project and Solutions Architecture teams, developing a comprehensive technical training and engineer development program and establishing a Technical Standards Committee that systematically involves highly skilled and seasoned engineers in the vetting process for innovative technologies, best practices and industry tools
In 2018, Gerald joined Daniel as part of the team that launched Partners in Regulatory Compliance (PIRC), a consultative cybersecurity consulting company.

Eric has a mind for business and technology, plus a passion for excellence—and he brings all of that to his role as Vice President of Technology for Exigent. In this role, he leads a team of highly skilled technicians trained to architect the innovative and result-oriented solutions that create differentiators for Exigent’s clients. Beyond managing those teams, Eric guides the professional development of Exigent’s engineers.
A savvy technologist, Eric’s career spans more than 30 years. After launching his IT career as a programmer, he leveraged his technical talent and smart business sense to quickly move into high-profile leadership positions with major corporations.
In 2005, Eric joined with friend and business colleague Frank Vizzuso to launch Information Architects, an IT service provider specializing in systems integration, core platform technologies, managed services and virtualization for small businesses. In 2015, Information Architects merged with Exigent Technologies. Eric is also part of the team that established Partners for Regulatory Compliance in 2018.
Eric models continuous improvement and knowledge building, having earned a multitude of technology certifications during his career. Not one to rest on his laurels, he recently earned the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), an IT workforce certification that applies behavioral analytics to networks and devices to prevent, detect and combat cybersecurity threats through continuous security monitoring. The CompTIA CySA+ meets the ISO 17024 standard and is approved by the U.S. Department of Defense.
In today’s highly competitive world where many services providers make big promises they cannot keep, Frank Vizzuso takes delivering exceptional and innovative solutions to heart. To accomplish that, he pairs his natural curiosity about ground-breaking technology with his knack for listening to and understanding the goals and business challenges of Exigent’s customers and prospects.
At Exigent Technologies, Frank’s top priority is growing the company’s portfolio of technology and professional services to ensure customer needs are met, the company is primed for excellence, and clients are happy.
As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, it’s a full-time challenge to identify the correct innovative technology solutions, gauge the inflection point for adoption without risk, and then align those offerings with the needs of Exigent customers to drive new levels of success. Frank strives to manage that task with an eye toward leading customers toward the implementation of applicable tech to create competitive advantages and profitable results.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Frank graduated from Rutgers University in Newark and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) with a dual degree in information processing systems. He started his career as a systems engineer and four years later became one of the lead technical consultants at Integrated Computer Management (ICM). Frank met his future business partner Eric Burke at ICM and the two continued to grow their expertise, eventually breaking out and starting their own IT services company—Information Architects—in 2005.
In 2014, Daniel Haurey, Eric and Frank joined forces, merging Exigent Technologies and Information Architects merged under the Exigent brand the following year.
For the past 20-plus years, Rudy Ordaz has combined his passion for entrepreneurship and technology to create innovative IT solutions for his clients on the West Coast. After starting his career in the IT sector in 1999, Rudy founded his first technology services business—Route 66 Networks. He then sold that company, and focused on REALTIME Technologies, challenging himself to build a better IT services company.
With the Exigent Technologies acquisition of REALTIME Technologies in March 2022, Rudy now brings that innovative mindset to the Exigent leadership team as VP, Business Development. He draws on his background in IT, sales, and business leadership to expand the reach of Exigent as they grow both the breadth of their IT services portfolio and geographically.
With his background, Rudy is particularly equipped to work with the small to midsized organizations served by Exigent as it enables him to connect to the common challenge of SMB businesses—balancing technology, innovation, and business sense for successful growth while mitigating risk.
Rudy doesn’t settle for challenging himself as a technologist and business owner—he is also passionate about cycling, running, and triathlons. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
