Heightened Cybersecurity Awareness

Periods of global unrest often correlate with an increase in cyber crime. Bad actors frequently take advantage of uncertainty and distraction by launching phishing campaigns and other social engineering attacks designed to exploit urgency and fear.

We recommend taking a moment to remind your entire team to remain especially vigilant and approach common tasks with a heightened awareness:

• Carefully review unexpected emails, even if they appear to come from trusted sources

• Avoid clicking on unfamiliar links or downloading unexpected attachments

• Be cautious of urgent requests involving financial transactions, credential resets, or sensitive data

• Report suspicious messages to Exigent immediately

Customer Updates

Microsoft Pricing Updates

Beginning July 1, 2026, Microsoft will implement pricing and feature updates across several Microsoft 365 licensing plans. These changes are being made directly by Microsoft and are outside of Exigent’s control. The following Microsoft 365 plans will be impacted:

• Microsoft 365 Business Basic
• Microsoft 365 Business Standard
• Microsoft 365 E3
• Microsoft 365 E5

Microsoft has indicated these updates are tied to expanded platform capabilities, including enhanced security, compliance, endpoint management, AI functionality, and additional Exchange Online storage. Some plans will also receive added features, including:

• Additional Exchange Online storage
• Microsoft Defender enhancements
• Expanded Intune capabilities
• Security and compliance improvements
• Security Copilot and Purview enhancements (select plans)

Pricing adjustments will apply based on your Microsoft renewal date starting July 1, 2026.
